The Good Wife

Kyoko Hasumi (Takako Tokiwa) is a former lawyer who quit her job to be a housewife and a mother. Her husband is at the very top prosecutor. He also has been charged with corruption and gets detained, although he works as the boss of a special investigation section at the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office. A scandal with another woman is also shown. Kyoko Hasumi's lifetime as a"good wife" begins to improve. She decides to do the job as a lawyer to secure her children. She's hired temporarily at a law office and begins to work as legal counsel for the first time in 16 decades.
