Love Cuts

Cecilia, also known as Sissy to her friends, is a vivacious seamstress in her forties. Her husband of many years, Wai Mun, is the captain of a renowned Chinese restaurant. Despite being slightly dissatisfied with life since moving from Hong Kong to Singapore, he and Sissy are a loving pair with a happy marriage. They have a 15-year-old son and a nine-year-old daughter who has a close relationship with Sissy and brings her much joy and solace. In a twist of fate, an unanticipated incident occurs in their ostensibly average and unremarkable lives. Sissy detects a bump in her left breast one day. She is overwhelmed by an avalanche of complicated feelings.
