Star Trek: The Animated Series

Star Trek: The Animated Series is an animated science fiction television Show set in the Star Trek World following the events of Star Trek: The Original Collection of the 1960s. The animated series was aired under the name Star Trek, however it has come to be widely known under this name to differentiate it from the StarTrek. The success in syndication of the original live action series and buff pressure to get a StarTrek revival led to The Animated Series from 1973--1974, since the source of new experiences of the Enterprise crew, the second function as 1979 live action feature film Star Trek: The Motion Picture. The'TAS' show was the original cast's last episodic portrayal of the characters until the"animation like" graphics of the Star Trek: 25th Anniversary cd in 1992, as well as its own sequel Star Trek: Judgment Rites at 1993, both of which emerged following the cast's last picture together in 1991's Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country. TAS was the first Star Trek show.
