Monsters

Monsters is just a horror anthology series which originally conducted during the 1990s on the sci fi Channel from 1988 to 1991 and re ran. As of 2011, Monsters airs on NBC Universal's horror/suspense-themed cable channel Chiller in weekday marathons that are sporadic. In a very similar vein to Tales from the Darkside,'' Monsters in certain ways succeeded the series, as well as shared the same producer. It differed in some respects. While Tales dabbled in stories of fantasy and science fiction, this show was strictly terror. As its name implies, each episode of Monsters comprised into mutated, weapon-wielding laboratory rats from the puppet of a fictional children's television program. Similar to Tales the stories in chords were seldom very straightforward action plots and sometimes included some twist in often with results. Adding to it was an expression of comedy lost on terror productions which may in most cases added into their production's total eeriness lighten the audience's mood however in some instances.
