A Different World

A Different World is an American television sitcom which aired on NBC for six seasons. It originally based on Denise Huxtable and the life of students at Hillman College, a fictional mixed but historically black college in the state of Virginia and is a spin off series from The Cosby Show. After the passing from the season of Bonet, the series' rest focused more on mathematics whiz Dwayne Wayne and Southern belle Whitley Gilbert. The show often depicted members of the major historically black fraternities and sororities. While it was a spin off from The Cosby Show, A Different World would address. One event that aired in 1990 was among the American network tv episodes to address the HIV/AIDS outbreak.
