Cold War

They say Hong Kong is your safest city in Asia. But tonight, a police van was hijacked together side the arms, equipment and also the five officers aboard, among the hostages being the sole son of authorities deputy commissioner M.B. Lee! With the chief commissioner off on a conference overseas, the fiery Lee instantly takes command of the rescue operation -- code named"Cold War" -- but the cryptic kidnappers clearly know the authorities procedures and are therefore at a beneficial position. Objecting into Lee methods, the deputy commissioner Sean Lau steps at this time of catastrophe to lead the performance. But even Lau's careful want eventually ends up a collapse, losing the $50 million cash ransom and the lieutenant at the process' lifetime. The ICAC (Independent Commission Against Corruption) begins to analyze Lau and Lee on suspicion of having hidden ties into the kidnappers...
